Families met at designated meeting locations to walk to school together, and students who rode the bus or were dropped off at the school participated in the program by walking on the school’s walking track, newly refurbished by Concorde Fire, until the start of the school day.The event will be held on April 20, 2012. Montgomery Elementary plans to continue this program and eventually partner with the national Safe Routes to School program.
