The weather difficulties come at a very busy time for NASCAR and its teams. Results of the Atlanta race and Saturday night’s scheduled race at Richmond International Raceway will determine the 12 drivers who will compete for the Sprint Cup championship in the Chase.Sprint Cup team haulers are scheduled to check into RIR Thursday night. Sprint Cup practice at the track is scheduled to begin at 12:10 p.m. ET Friday, with qualifying set for 5:35 p.m. ET.
