Sheriff Furlong has also released highlights from the Carson City sheriff and fire services dispatch center from this morning’s unprecedented shooting at the IHOP Restaurant located in South Carson City. He also plans to hold his third press conference of the day at 10:30 pm tonight at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office located at 911 E. Musser Street to provide updates.
Event Summary. A lone gunman entered the IHOP restaurant just before 9 a.m. this morning and began shooting. His shooting spree continued into the restaurant’s parking lot, culminating in him turning the gun on himself.
