CPI national executive CR Bakshi, condemned the attack and said that hundreds of party workers in the Bastar region, including Dantewada district, between the Maoists and the police.
“The purpose of the CPI in the Bastar region, all have been harassed and targeted by the Maoists for allegedly supporting the police while the police accused them of sheltering the Maoists,” said Bakshi IANS.
